Northumberland Rocks Back returns to the Lions Community Centre on Saturday, August 6, in support of the Northumberland United Way Community Recovery Fund.
The 2nd annual outdoor concert will feature performances by Storm The Palace, Greatest Of Ease, Marty & The Mojos, Cale Crowe, and Jeremy Macklin.
Tickets for Northumberland Rocks Back are $25 and are available to purchase at www.northumberlandrocks.ca.
“We are excited to be back showcasing local musicians with a high-quality production,” said Graham Beer, Chair of Northumberland Rocks Back and Executive Producer of Cobourg Media. “Our concert represents the power of community and the impact we can create together.”
Since the pandemic began, Northumberland United Way has responded to increased need in the areas of food security, housing, childcare, senior support, employment, mental health, and social connection. Proceeds will help target deep-rooted issues and fill the gaps in community investments.
“We are thrilled to have Northumberland Rocks Back return for the 2nd year,” said Bobbie Dawson, CEO, Northumberland United Way. “This year proceeds from the concert will be supporting our Community Recovery Fund to assist organizations respond to the impact of COVID-19 and help our community recover long term.”
During the concert, the Lions Community Centre will offer a wide selection of beverages and food. Northumberland United Way will be selling 50/50 tickets and Northumberland Rocks merchandise.
