Liberal Leader Justin Trudeau made an impromptu campaign stop in Cobourg Sunday afternoon joining local Liberal candidate for Northumberland—Peterborough-South Kim Rudd.
Once receiving a warm welcome by supporters and volunteers at Kim Rudd’s campaign office at 239 Division Street, Rudd and Trudeau were off visiting local businesses on King Street including the Black Cat Bakery & Café and the Buttermilk Café.
The Liberal Leader told local resident Eva Hall that he was here to meet as many people as he could and to support Kim.
This isn’t the first official stop to Cobourg as Prime Minister. Justin Trudeau joined Kim Rudd for a candidacy kick-off event last October at the LIUNA Local 183 Union Hall.
